Experts say it doesn't hurt drinking alcohol or wine every once in a while. And good thing, teens are already keeping their alcoholism levels at a minimum. But this bizarre replacement just drew attention from police this month... You won't believe it!

It turns out these kids found a new way to get drunk. Last month, six kids were brought to the nearest local hospital when they consumed hand sanitizers so they'll feel the buzz they get whenever they drink beer or any type of alcohol.

These university students are just some of those who get the thrill of getting high using hand sanitizers, as alternative for cough medicines or alcohol.

According to health experts and medical specialists, a couple of squirts of these hand sanitizers can amount to a couple of shots of hard liquor, which can be worrying.

Doctor Cyrus Ragan, a medical toxicology consultant from Children's Hospital Los Angeles, the said alternative method is "rapidly emerging trend" and about 3,000 cases have been reported since he took his job in California in 2010.
