This man in India has been complaining of an itchy yet painful sensation in his ear for quite some time. Its persistence left him with no choice but to have it examined by the doctor(s). Upon viewing what was inside his ear, the doctors were in a state of shock.

They first suspected that the itchy and painful sensation was caused by a disease or a hearing disability. They find out that they were gravely mistaken. Turns out that what was causing the trouble in the man's ear was a cricket. It has been crawling inside his ear canal for quite some time. 

What is relieving in this story is that the doctors never performed any surgery. The extraction procedure involved only the use of a pair of tweezers. 

The cricket was pulled out from the man's ear eventually. The man, of course, successfully got out of the procedure unharmed.
